Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect information when you use SunnyPharma.info — our cookie and consent practices, international data handling, and your rights as a visitor anywhere in the world.

Effective: January 1, 2025 Last reviewed: May 31, 2026 Applies to: sunnypharma.info and all its subpages

In short: We do not sell your data and we do not share it with pharmaceutical companies or advertisers. We collect only what is needed to operate and improve the site. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies; in regions that require it, these load only after you consent. We apply the protections in this policy to every visitor, wherever you are.

Who We Are & Who Controls Your Data

SunnyPharma.info is a global, independent health education website operated by SP Health (“we,” “us,” or “our”), which is the data controller responsible for the information described in this policy. If you have any question about this policy or wish to exercise your privacy rights, you can reach us via the contact page.

Visitors From Around the World

SunnyPharma® serves visitors worldwide, and data-protection laws differ from one country to another. Rather than apply different standards to different regions, we apply the protections described in this policy to all visitors, wherever they are located. Where laws such as the European Union and United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or other regional privacy laws, grant you specific rights, we honor those rights as they apply to you. Your rights may depend on where you live; see Your Rights below.

What Information We Collect

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting infrastructure and analytics tools may collect:

  • Log data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit
  • Device information — device type, screen resolution, and browser capabilities
  • Aggregate usage data — which pages are visited most, general navigation patterns, and approximate region (country or region level)

This information is used to operate the site, keep it secure, and understand in aggregate how our content is used so we can improve it. We do not use it to build individual profiles.

Information you provide voluntarily

If you contact us, we receive your message and the contact details you choose to provide (such as an email address), solely so we can respond. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not use your message for any other purpose. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your inquiry, and then delete it. We do not provide individual medical advice in response to inquiries, and we do not assist with obtaining, sourcing, or importing medication.

Our Interactive Tools

SunnyPharma® offers free educational tools, such as medication-access checklists, to help people understand their options for affordable treatment. The checklist does not store your responses. It runs in your browser, and we do not collect, save, or transmit the selections you make within it. General, page-level analytics (described below, and subject to consent where required) help us see which pages are used and where wording can be improved — but the tool itself does not record what you enter, and nothing you select is tied to you as an individual.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device. We use the following:

  • Essential cookies — required for the website to function (for example, a content-management session cookie). These are necessary for the site to work and are not used for tracking.
  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to help us understand site usage in aggregate. These are not essential. In regions that require prior consent (such as the EU and UK), these cookies are not set until you agree through our cookie-consent banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

We do not use advertising cookies, ad-network tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral-targeting cookies. Where you have not consented (in regions requiring consent), analytics cookies are not placed.

Analytics & Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate the site. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service, under its own privacy terms:

  • Google Analytics — aggregate traffic and usage analysis. Loaded only after consent in regions that require it.
  • Google Fonts — delivery of the site’s typefaces.
  • Hosting & content delivery — a third-party hosting and content-delivery provider stores and serves the site and may keep technical logs to deliver and secure it.

We do not embed social-media tracking scripts, advertising-network pixels, or retargeting code.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process information on the following bases:

  • Consent — for non-essential analytics cookies, which load only after you agree where consent is required.
  • Legitimate interests — for operating, securing, and improving the site, and for responding to inquiries you send us, balanced against your privacy.
  • Legal obligation — where we must process or retain information to comply with applicable law.

International Data Transfers

Because our visitors and service providers are located in different countries, information may be processed or stored outside the country where you live, including by our hosting, content-delivery, and analytics providers. Where information is transferred across borders, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers — such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent measures — so that your information continues to be protected to the standard described in this policy.

How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and secure the website
  • To understand in aggregate how visitors use our content, and to improve it
  • To respond to inquiries you send us
  • To diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not use visitor information for advertising, pharmaceutical marketing, or any commercial purpose, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

What We Never Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
  • We do not share your information with pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacies, insurers, or advertising platforms.
  • We do not use your information to make decisions about you as an individual.
  • We do not publish anything that could identify you.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your information. We disclose information only where necessary: to the service providers described above, acting on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations; where required by applicable law, court order, or a competent authority; or where disclosure is needed to protect the legal rights or safety of SP Health, our visitors, or the public.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Technical and server log data is retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting and then deleted. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry, then deleted. Analytics information is retained in aggregate form in accordance with our analytics provider’s retention settings.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to access the information we hold about you
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate information
  • The right to request deletion (erasure)
  • The right to object to or restrict processing
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Children’s Privacy

SunnyPharma.info is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and access controls for any stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these obligations seriously.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected in the “Last reviewed” date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
