What is the dosage of Mavyret?
Everyday 3 tablets of glecaprevir 100mg and 40 mg of pibrentasvir.
Daily total dosage of glecaprevir is 300mg and 120 mg of pibrentasvir. Take all 3 tablets at the same time everyday with food.
What is age and weight requirement to take Mavyret?
You must be an adult or pediatric patient of atleast 12 years old with chronic hepatitis C.
Your weight as a pediatric patient must be atleast 45kg or 99 pounds.
*Pediatric patient that weighs more than 45kg or 99 pounds can take Mavyret with the consultation of a physician.
What are the most common side effects of Mavyret?
- Headache
- Fatigue (tiredness)
- Nausea (vomit feeling)
- Diarrhea
- Itchy skin
- Weakness (lack and sometimes loss of strength)
Is Mavyret safe to take during pregnancy?
More research is required to support the safety of taking Mavyret during pregnancy.
Mavyret does cross the placenta to the embryo in pregnant women.
Lactating mothers can transfer Mavyret to their children during breast feeding.
It is important to consult with your physician and healthcare professional to weigh the benefits before starting Mavyret during pregnancy.
What is Mavyret price in India?
Mavyret price in India is $1995 for 168 tablets, 8 weeks treatment.
You will receive the identical equivalent of Mavyret but in generic form that is only available outside of the US.
